Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service from receive to release of their vehicles
  • Perform customer service duties, i.e. answering the phone, scheduling service appointments, and reaching out to customers, via phone or text, to inform them their vehicles are ready for pick up
  • A firm understanding of automotive parts, products, and repairs, along with the experience of outsourcing such parts to complete repair estimates
  • Translate customer reported problems to actionable work orders for technicians to complete
  • Answering customer questions about service outcomes and consulting with technicians when necessary
  • Ability to communicate complicated automotive processes to customers who may only have basic automotive knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of computer programs including word processing and database tools for ordering necessary parts from suppliers
  • Proficiency in Mitchell Teamworks SE 1 is preferred
  • Basic mathematics skills to prepare and process customers completed invoices and facilitating receipt of payments in our point-of-sale system
