Campanella's saves the day!!!! This morning, I left my home in Newark headed to a pre-op appointment at ChristianaCare - Wilmington Hospital. Driving up I-95 North was uneventful until I reached the outskirts of Wilmington. Right in the middle of the Restore the Corridor construction, my check engine light came on and my car slowed to a crawl at 15mph. I silently prayed, "Please let me make it to Campanella's!" as I put on my flashers and slowly made my way past downtown, across the Brandywine River Bridge and to the Route 202 exit. I was quite shaken up by all of the drama with my car, as well as worried about how I was going to make it to the pre-op appointment scheduled that morning and another doctor's appointment in the early afternoon. When I arrived, Andrew greeted me with a smile and promised to take care of the situation. Not only did he get my car in to get fixed, he arranged for Anthony and Alex to shuttle me to/from Wilmington Hospital and provided a very nice loaner car so I could make it to my doctor's appointment. My car's repairs were even done in time for me to avoid the end-of-workday traffic on I-95 South! In this day and age, there are not many examples of businesses who truly care about their customers. I am so very grateful to Paul Campanella, Andrew, Anthony and Alex for their empathy, kindness and professional service!
