3,000 miles – Oil Change

It’s the most standard maintenance service for every car owner. Having your oil changed every 3,000-5,000 miles is essential for keeping the parts of your engine working fluidly and efficiently.

30,000 miles – Tune Up Service

During your tune up service, you can have your vehicles hoses and belts examined or replaced, as well as all of your vehicles fluids, such as coolant and power steering fluid, flushed and replenished.

50,000 miles – Shocks & Struts

Your shocks and struts are some of the main components to controlling your vehicle’s handling. Road conditions and frequent adverse weather can cause them to wear quicker than usual. You should also make sure that the seals surrounding your shocks and struts are carefully inspected, to prevent excessive oil leakage.

60,000 miles – Timing Belts:

Your timing belt usually needs replaced every 60-70,000 miles. Having your timing belt inspected before any problems occur can help maintain the health of your engine, as well as prevent against the headaches of getting stranded during a breakdown.

70,000 miles – Pumps:

Water pumps and fuel pumps generally tend to last around the same amount of time. A spike in engine heat could be due to a crack in your water pump around this time. Also, if you notice your vehicle stalling, or making a buzzing noise, you should have your fuel pump serviced as soon as possible.

80,000 miles – Battery:

Car batteries usually only last about 80,000 miles. If you start to notice your battery is needing jumped often, or there is erosion on the top of the battery, have it checked, or replaced before it leaves you stranded.

90,000 miles – Tune Up Service:

Bring your vehicle in for another tune up!
