Car wouldn't start after a few days out of town, in my condo garage. Called Campanella for help. Who shows up? Paul, the owner no less. Proudly driving his own newly bought Toyota. So, into the garage, jump cables and presto, diagnosis; dead battery due to leaving dome light on. Drove to the Tire center and Paul insisted they not charge for the service call; I insisted they do and ordered lube, oil and a new battery. Great team, fabulous owner and leader. American service at its best. Thanks for the rescue.

I have a 2004 Avalanche with 160000+ miles of some hard miles and a lot of days off road on the beaches of the east coast. I have always tried to keep the maintenance of this truck up, but as the family grows and limited time for downtime, I have slacked a little. As our primary beach vehicle and now driving more miles for work, I had a few major issues crop up, that I thought were previously addressed from other auto and dealer care shops, but live and learn. Even though we live about 60 miles away, it ended up being well worth the trip. From the first call and the conversation with Mike to the attention to detail that Anthony and Paul gave my truck, I would recommend their shop to anyone that I know. They took care of my truck like if was their own. They reviewed the truck thoroughly and explained all of my options and repaired my truck beyond satisfaction. Their service and customer service is beyond anything that I have previously experienced and I am comfortable that my truck with keep my family safe in whatever we take on this year. I would definitely recommend Campanella's to everyone and feel confident that they would be satisfied with their experience. Thank you Anthony and Paul. I really appreciate your service and honestly.

I called and spoke with Andrew about a slow leak in my tire this morning. He told me to come in and that I would not be charged. Once I arrived, they were all very pleasant and I ended up buying new wind shield wipers because I was in dire need! Lol. I believe I've found a new auto center for my car! THANKS!

On my way back to Washington DC from Philadelphia, I noticed a rattling sound from one of my rear tires. I called Campanella auto center 45 minutes before they closed and they encouraged me to bring my Hyundai Santa Fe in. Within minutes, they diagnosed the problem and fixed it without any charge. They also allowed me to have the peace of mind to drive home safely. It is amazing to get such great service from a company that I have never been to before. Highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

It was great meeting Paul and his staff! I needed some help with a flat tire and they took great care of me. It was as if I had known them for years. They truly care about their customers and take great pride in their work. I will be stopping by the next time I need to get my car serviced.

My experience at Paul Campanella's was grade A!!! They were honest, reliable, fair, and friendly. They even took me out to the shop to show me what was going on with my car. I never felt more comfortable and safe knowing my car was in their hands. Paul Campanella's is the best auto repair shop around (trust me, I've been just about all of them). I recently arrived in Wilmington, and right off the bat, I heard a noise in one of my wheels. Fearing the worst, I searched for an auto repair place hoping to get one that wouldn't try to rip me off. Having been around the automotive business most of my life, I was apprehensive, but I believe I have found such a place. They diagnosed the problem, a stick wedged in the wheel which rubbed when I put the transmission in reverse. They took it out and didn't charge me for that. They noticed that I needed new front discs and an oil change and advised me of such, without the pressure one sometimes gets at auto repair places. They basically said: "Your front disc breaks are nearly worn out, and you are nearing time for an oil change. They also pointed out some dry rot in my tires and suggested that I keep an eye on them, but did not pressure me to buy new tires unless I wanted to go ahead. Simple as that. I had them do the work I thought it needed immediately and found the price reasonable for what they did. They treated me courteously and took care of my problems quickly, even though I came in off the street without an appointment. I didn't give them a five-star rating because I didn't need their full range of services. After I have them do more work in the future, and I will, I will upgrade the rating if their service matches what I received this first time.

My daughter found herself stranded with a flat tire on the interstate on 6/23/12. She was referred to this center by BMW assist and they worked diligently to find a replacement tire for the car. Not an easy task for a Saturday in Wilmington. The staff, especially Anthony was extremely professional and remained in constant phone contact with me. Ultimately, they were able to find a tire of the same size which enabled my daughter to complete her trip without incident. It's a pleasure to do business with a company that believes in doing the right thing. My thanks to everyone, especially Anthony.

My 2005 Honda CRV developed a loud rattle near the rear that sounded like it was coming from the exhaust system. I have always taken it to the Honda dealership but sensed this might be a minor issue on which I was likely to get majorly hosed. I had driven past Campanella's countless times in the couple years I have been living in the city of Wilmington, but hadn't heard anything by word-of-mouth. I researched it online and discovered favorable Yelp reviews so I decided to give it a try - I could easily ride my bike or walk or jog to/from the place so it fit perfectly with my urban lifestyle and, being a small business owner myself, I was eager to patronize what looked to be a well-run, independent shop. Without having called ahead, I headed over one morning, walked in and began describing the issue to Paul, the owner, who happened to be at the service counter. He couldn't promise to get my car in right away as all his mechanics were occupied with projects. After just a few minutes of waiting, he had coordinated a mechanic to bring my car into the service bay and in no time at all, he was walking me out to show me (with my car on the lift) the problem - an obviously broken pipe. He advised me we could replace just a certain section of pipe, as opposed to a more comprehensive replacement that would be the standard recommendation (and of course more costly and time-consuming). A couple more minutes in the clean and pleasant waiting area, with it's Keurig single-brew coffee maker, and he was providing me with an estimate and indicated he could have the work completed that day. I skipped out the door and down the Augustine Cutoff for the quick walk home and by mid-afternoon, I received a call saying my car was finished and ready for pick-up. The mechanic had also performed a general inspection and Paul provided recommendations for maintenance items I should consider in the future. I gladly paid my bill which was just slightly under the estimated cost, and was on my way, good as new (well, almost...for a 7 yr old car with 142k miles...). Thanks, Campanella's, for such efficient service!

I must say that the 4 and 5 star ratings are appropriate for this business. I was advised to come here by a surrounding business when I needed to have a tire plugged. To my surprise there was no fee for the plug or the replacing the doughnut . The staff was super friendly and offered the business card for future auto care needs. I will def return for my future tire and rotation needs.
